If you want to be considered for a Graduate Teaching Associateship (GTA) or to be nominated to the University Fellowship Competition, your application must be complete (ALL application materials received including letters of reference and test scores) by November 30.
The department has developed a handbook of information about the BAE Informal Option that includes application information.
Please be sure to read the Bachelor of Art Education Informal Option Handbook, as the requirements for applying are different from the BAE with Licensure track. The department offers a Licensure Only option for those who already hold a BFA or BA in an art-related field.
Each applicant shall provide: Transfer Student Requirements A transfer student is defined as one who has attempted a minimum of seven semester hours of college-level credit (not to include credit hours accumulated by a concurrently enrolled high school student) at another accredited college or university prior to enrolling at OSU-Oklahoma City.
All curricular deficiencies must be remediated within the first 12 collegiate hours attempted on the OSU-Oklahoma City Campus.
The admissions office will not accept advising reports or web printouts.
A minimum cumulative undergraduate GPA of 3.0 is required.
OSU-OKC does not require a minimum score on either of these tests for admission.
High School Curricular Requirements *Students who do not obtain the appropriate test scores will be admitted into the college but required to take developmental classes before they are allowed to take college level classes.
