After you've been admitted to HCC, the next step is to determine if you are ready to take college-level math or college-level English.
Many students do this by taking our placement test, but there are other ways to prove college readiness that can be found on the list below. ), you may be able to place directly in to college-level math and English courses without having to take the placement test.
The minimum scaled score of 1440 will remain the same as that which is currently required to pass the California Bar Examination.
The scope of subjects tested on the California Bar Examination will also remain unchanged.
Re-test fee is waived for students who successfully complete: Although hand-held calculators are not permitted, students will have access to the calculator function that is built into specific Arithmetic and Elementary Algebra questions. Note: Only students with approved testing accommodations will be allowed to use a hand-held calculator.
Effective with administration of the July 2017 California Bar Examination the format of the examination will be constructed as follows: The examination will be administered over two days with the following components: During the grading, the written and MBE portions of the examination will be weighted equally at 50 percent each, also effective with administration of the July 2017 California Bar Examination.
